More Branching Out

We made a curry chicken dish in the Crock Pot yesterday. At first, I planned on giving Lily nuggets because I didn't think there was any way she would eat it. However, we thought we should at least make her give it a try. She didn't care much for the veggies, but she did like the chicken and rice. Yes, Lily ate curry chicken. Perhaps the chocolate brownie with ice cream motivated her too, but it was good that she ate it. In the past even a great dessert would not have motivated her.

Noah had his 18 month well baby visit today. He is doing fine. He is 25 3/4 lbs and 32 3/4 inches. That puts him squarely in the 25th percentile for both height and weight. He's doing well developmentally, though his vocabulary needs to grow. He is babbling more than he used to, so we figure that it will come. He still does a lot of pointing and grunting to communicate.
