Noah really doesn't seem to care much about his toys, but he absolutely loves his books. He will ask us to read the same books to him over and over again. We're kind of excited about this on one level as we are both readers and we want our children to be too. On the other hand, Amanda knows firsthand the problems that come from reading to the exclusion of all else.
Plus, on a practical level, one can only read Corduroy's Day so many times without going a little cuckoo.
Do we need to heed this warning?
