Irregular Pookie

Noah had quite a day yesterday. Amanda called me at work to tell me that Noah was particularly crabby in the morning. She couldn't figure out why, but when we put our heads together we realized that he had not had a good poop since Monday afternoon. This put him in quite an ill-humor. However, three poops later he was back to his normal cheery self. Amanda says that it is time to get him back on oatmeal for breakfast more regularly.

The other significant thing is that he has a new word. Amanda made herself some hot cocoa. Noah asked for it by saying, "ho-ho." You can almost hear a hard c sound in the first syllable, but not quite. It's kind of guttural like the way "Hannukah" is properly pronounced.

Lily enjoyed her first day back at school. Unfortunately, she had to do three days' worth of homework last night. It's not as if she had to do dozens of math problems, but it did take some time. Her writing is pretty good, but she doesn't stay in the lines too well. I wrote her words for her to model and she wanted to count my writing as one. She thought Ms Snoots would get confused by mine and hers. I assured her that Ms Snoots would be able to tell the difference.
