Tradition

Lily was sick yesterday. She wasn't terribly sick, but she did have a low-grade fever around 100. This made the day a little rougher than it otherwise would have been. Amanda made her take a little nap and she had some Motrin after her nap. She was in good spirits for dinner and for recital practice. However, she did throw up in bed last night.

Amanda tells me that it is almost a tradition in her family to get sick the first day of summer vacation. This happened to me in college and it happens to some degree for me with seminary. However, I don't think Lily was really under that much stress.
