Last Day of Vacation

Yesterday was Lily's last day of summer vacation. It wasn't a particularly exciting one since Amanda was catching up from our trip. However, the good news is that both Lily and Noah generally behaved themselves while Amanda got a bunch done.

Our little Peanut starts first grade today. Fortunately, she got to go to meet the teacher night last Thursday. She knew where her classroom was better than Amanda because she says that she had been there before to visit a friend who was in first grade. Amanda says that Mrs. Turner seems nice and that she also seems organized. A few of Lily's core friends are in her class with her too, so that is good news as well.
