Yesterday was Lily's last day of preschool. She even had a commencement ceremony, which Aunt Tiff and Cousin Brenna attended. I understand that there was some singing at the ceremony and Lily did a good job holding her flower and singing. The teachers put together a DVD with a bunch of photos on it.
Lily keeps talking like she is glad that she doesn't have school anymore. This is confusing because she likes school. I asked her about this and she explained that she is glad because she won't have to leave early anymore. I think somewhere she got the idea that summer vacation is this great thing, no matter how much she likes school.
Lily is definitely starting to act more like a little girl and less like a preschooler. It's hard to quantify exactly, but if you spend much time with her you will see it. It's a little sad to see some of the old her go, but we also know that this is part of her growing up.
