Grandpa E got Noah a very nice over-the-door basketball hoop for Christmas. It's adjustable and we have it on the lowest setting for him now. It's not easy for him to make shots, but he did make a couple in the few minutes he had before bed last night. As I was putting him down he announced his desire to "play with my basketball." I told him that he could do that in the morning and he simply said, "OK."
The boy is pretty easy to please. You just have to be strategic about how you take basketball away from him.
